I have been planning my trip for 2020 and fundraising started as soon as I got back from my last trip. If you know me, I am a planner and I don't like to wait for anything! It is hard to think about next year and wish away my time in between because I am so excited about going back. There is a lot of things I "wish" I could do, like learn to speak conversational spanish! I am struggling with this and work on it, but I have not successful with it so far.
Another "wish" is the hopes of recruiting nurses and doctors to go with me and participate on our medical team. I have been doing the medical clinics with our team for 4 years and it has grown. I am excited to see what God has in store for us and I have a feeling it is going to explode into something more larger than what it has already grown to be.
In my planning, I need to be reminded to stop, be still and listen to God. Because it is not my way, it is His way. I am a part of His plan and he sure does have the plan. So my advice to myself is to slow down, talk with God regularly and listen to what he tells me.
Psalm 46:10; "He says, Be Still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth."
Love to all,
